A light-hearted comedy with a devilish twist. Four Deaf poker players are waiting for the dealer to arrive for their usual poker game. However a mysterious Deaf stranger, Luc, arrives to take the usual dealer's place. Luc appears to judge each player in turn, and has an uncanny ability for poker, which has him winning every hand. The players start to suspect that Luc is not a normal person.
Nick has experience in writing, producing and directing short dramas and dramatic programme items for TV and video for which he won a television award. He wrote the novel MILAN for which he won the DaDa award for Best Literary Artist of 2006.
