It's time to reclaim our roots and take pride in Deaf history; today's lesson comes courtesy of Sebastian Cunliffe who takes us back to the 19th century to meet Joseph Gawen, renowned deaf sculptor. Gawen created The Good Shepherd, which can be found in Shepherd's Bush at St Saviour's Church. It is also rumoured that he was responsible for sculpting Nelson's Column!
