'The Fingerspellers' is a stylish yet silly comedy series about a family of deaf gangsters who protect themselves with the power of their hands - firing bullets with their fingers, instead of guns!
The family live in monochrome Metro City during the 1950s, working to support the local deaf community through criminal means, offering them money and jobs to keep them afloat.
'Deaffather' is the head of the family, supported by his children, Sonny and Bella. When he stockpiles a new invention called the Textphone, a feud begins with a rival family called the Operas that threatens the family's monopoly.
'The Fingerspellers' was written by Charlie Swinbourne and directed by William Mager. The series stars a host of deaf actors - Ilan Dwek, Matthew Kirby, Rebecca-Anne Withey, Stephen Collins, Diana Martin, Matthew Gurney and David Hirshman, as well as a host of cameo appearances!
In this episode the Deaffather thinks he has found his traitor... but has he? Who has been talking to the Opera family? Who killed Cuddles? Will they ever find out? And the twists and turns don't end there, what on earth has happened to Lyla?
