Memento is a thriller all about memory.
The main character, Leonard, has short term memory loss and can only remember the last few minutes of his life.
He is trying to avenge the murder of his wife, so he tattoos his body with vital clues about what happened.
The most interesting thing about Memento is the structure of the film. The film starts at the end, if you understand what I mean, and we go back in time every five minutes.
Through this, we find out the truth about the characters and what has really happened, at the beginning rather than the end. It's a real psychological thriller.
