How important is it that the programme is presented in BSL? Culture is important in our family just as Deaf culture. Our hand carved totem poles preserve our historical values including the four erected here in this sacred place. Me and all native Indians like to communicate with our own indigenous signs which are just like your BSL! It has a beauty and imagery possessed by few, if any other languages and is the foremost gesture language ever witnessed in the world.
