Our last day - we're filming the 'recovered memory' scenes in the cottage. Some are filmed on green screen so we can create special effects in post production. One of the characters from the 'past' has to scream. Boy, can the actress scream! All the hearing crew had their hands over their ears. Matt, Sophie and I felt very smug!
Feeling tired but pleased with what we've done...now got to think about Departure Lounge - completely different film in both pace and style.
Glad to get back to London but we're all going to miss the food! Tanya has fed and looked after the crew like royalty! Wonderful cooked breakfasts, proper lunches, a real English tea with homemade cakes plus an evening meal. Everyone loved Tanya and I think, weirdly enough, despite the hard work involved, she's sorry to see us go!
We've just wrapped and are now on our way back to London. We have one day off and then another five days of filming. Looking forward to sleeping in my own bed but I really love this part of Suffolk. I like the combination of beauty and strangeness in the landscape. I feel I've been living in David Lean's 'Great Expectations' for a week.
