Under the Lamp returns with a new presenter Julian Peedle-Calloo to travel the country meeting extraordinary people from Deaf communities all around Britain.

This week he's in the South West of England meeting eminent academic Paddy Ladd who's book 'Deafhood' has had worldwide impact on Deaf cultural awareness, He meets a Deaf surfer to find out about the South West's surfing passion and talks to Kristy Cooper an active campaigner who has been working to improve the status and awareness of Sign Language.
